Day 6 – Pre-Shotcrete Inspection

Once electrical, plumbing and steel are complete, you will have a pre-shotcrete inspection to ensure these are all in place per permit and local regulations.  This is scheduled by you through your city.  It is very easy to schedule these visits and I highly suggest you stick around to meet the inspector.  If you fail inspection, you will want to know why and sometimes that is not easy to write down on paper.

What we did:

We passed our pre-shotcrete inspection and I met with the inspector.  He gave me tips on when to schedule my next inspections and what to look for when the shotcrete occurs.

Lessons learned:

No lessons learned at this time.  Inspections are a very straightforward process explained to you when you request your permits as well as explained in a pamphlet with your permit paperwork.
